Entering Bikes and gear in the swap

Items can be entered in the swap on Friday, May 11^th between 5pm and 8pm and Saturday, May 12^th between 7am and 10am. Bring items to the Bellingham Sportsplex rear entrance where volunteers will help you with registration. If you have pre-paid through PAYPAL, you are all set. If not, there is a $2.50 fee per item to help pay for the overhead of renting the space and equipment or an optional additional 10% of sale donation.

The swap will take place from 10am to 4pm. Immediately following the swap, a list of unsold bikes and gear will be posted. If your bike has not been sold you must pick it up by 6pm Saturday, May 12^th or consider it a donation to The Bike Shop. Please be considerate of our volunteers who are making the event possible and pick up any unsold gear in a timely manner. Thanks!

Checks for your sold bikes and gear will be mailed to you in the following week minus a 10% (or 20%) donation to The Bike Shop.

RSVP space for your bikes by Paypal

We have a limited amount of space for bikes and gear at the swap. If you would like to assure space for your items, you can reserve it for $2.50 per bike or item. This is the same fee you will pay at the door the day of or the evening before the event. This fee helps to pay for the overhead of renting the space and equipment. For small items you have the option of waiving the reservation fee and donating 20% of the sale price instead of 10%.

You can use the “Donate” button to the left of the sample screen to make your reservations. This is only for bike and gear entries; please, do not pay the $2 “early bird” admission fee here. That must be paid at the door the day of the event.

When you click on the “Donate button,” you will see the screen below. Please enter the number of items you wish to reserve space for X $2.50 in the “donation amount” box. In the example provided for three bikes, that is: “$7.50.” Complete your donation by following the PAYPAL prompts.

You will then be able to drop off your bikes and gear on either the evening of Friday, May 11^th or Saturday morning May 12th^th. See instructions below.
